WW2 Memories Day

A World War Two Memories Day took place on Saturday 18th September at the New Victory Hall, Neatishead with many of the displays and research originally planned for VE Day 75th Anniversary last year. Thank you to all those who attended.

The day was an opportunity to view a unique map of ‘Wartime Incidents’ across our three villages with associated research about aerial attacks, aircraft crashes and other wartime activity in this corner of Broadland Norfolk. It was also an opportunity to step back in time to discover what life was like on the Home Front in the 1940s with memories of those from who lived in our villages during WW2, Later in the day our local amateur group entertained the community with a wonderful WW2 Musical Evening.
